Humanity’s Fault

[Relentlessness] - The hope of finding liberty in each flutter that further ensnares the moth in a silky hammock spun by its silent predator.

[Fancifulness] - A monarch’s waltz at the height of my gaze, journeying from nowhere to nowhere.

[Gratitude] - The bunting of a fattened stray.

[Heartache] - A fawn remaining silent on her mother’s brisket, as her breath turns as frigid as the piercing blow which stole it from her.

[Joy] - A sediment pearl being tossed to and fro within the raft’s most juvenile.

[Camaraderie] - A gaggle whose individuals flap on a separate beat, but in unity whoosh, “Onward!”

[Fortification] - Calves breach the surface of the deep, conditioning themselves for the strain required during their first hunt.

[Responsibility] - A squirrel’s hyper-vigilance being triggered by each acorn that succumbs to gravity.

[Flight] - The collective chatter of all aerial and terrestrial creatures in exchange for 538 seconds of peace, alarming all that is near, a cyclone is imminent.

[Discontentment] - Only in humanity.
